Purpose of the Program
The Bachelor of Arts in Theology is designed to offer students a comprehensive, Christ centered academic experience. This program prepares individuals for effective service in the educational ministries of the local church, with a focus on areas such as Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and Sunday School Leadership
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate competence in basic knowledge of the Christian faith.
- Demonstrate competence in the basic knowledge of understanding of Bible doctrine, theological interpretation of the Bible and its messages.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of theological importance of the Bible to the Christian faith.
- Develop Christian character with biblical principles.
- Become more efficient and effective as proclamation of the gospel and play more transformative role in meeting the needs of the church and the community.
Admissions Requirements
- Applicants must have attempted Grade 12 or GED examination but failed to make it.
- Applicants must have a pass in three papers including English Language.
- Candidates must be active minister of the gospel who desire continous education.
- Matured people, that are Ministers of the gospel recommended by their Church or Ministry will be given consideration
- Applicants must pass the interview set by the University.
