Purpose of the Program
The purpose of this course is to enhance the knowledge of believers and students who needs advanced, academic and professional training in biblical principles of christian education, to equip and prepare for excellence in ministry skills to enable them serve in an educational capacity such as Sunday School superintendent, Minister of Education, Youth Minister, Sunday School and the likes.
Learning Objectives
Demonstrate knowledge of biblical philosophy of Christian education.
Demonstrate possession of leadership skills that can move organisation, groups and churches
forward.
Demonstrate analytical skill such that will enable him/her to criticise objectively and evaluate
educational program.
Demonstrate competence as a Christian educator to teach, supervise, implement Christian
education programs with communication skill.
Demonstrate practical skills and deep understanding of the educational process, biblically and
appropriate use of curriculum and instruction principles.
Demonstrate ability to carry out research and publish findings that may be of value in the field of
Christian education.
Submit a dissertation/thesis (depending on the terminology in your country).
Admissions Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Christian education or religious studies or related discipline with a second class upper division obtained from a university accredited by the applicant country’s ministry of education and all necessary regulatory authorities. Candidates with less certification can also apply and will be accessed on merit.
